High tide tonight at around midnight will be the big test.

  • 125 homes door knocked.
  • 118 have chosen to stay.

After the midnight peak, we are confident the river will start to recede.

Police have done a great job door knocking – 25 QPS officers.

We have an evacuation centre at Ormeau – 3 Cuthbert Drive

M1 – Qld Police urge motorists to stay off the M1. The Tugun Bypass Tunnel is closed SOUTHBOUND.

Long delays for those wanting to head south in to NSW.

SES – 45 jobs left from their catalogue.

Energex – around 4200 homes still without power

Springbrook remains cut off.

Crew is working hard to get the western side near Pine Creek open in next 18 hours.

Multiple land spills across hinterland region.

Recovery work now underway across city.

Asset damage teams out looking at damage: city wide.
