City assets and venues affected by power outage. Update current as of 4.30pm Tuesday 25 May 2021:

Power at Pimpama Sewage Treatment Plant has been restored, with main power expected to be restored to Coombabah Sewage Treatment Plant shortly.
Power restored at Molendinar, Helensvale and Stapylton Waste & Recycling Centres and accepting customers.

The power outage has affected a number of sewerage pump stations at Coombabah Sewage Treatment Plant and Pimpama Sewage Treatment Plant. A number of generators are being deployed. Sites are being monitored as power is restored.

More than 50 City vehicles will dig, scoop and beep their way into the Broadwater Parklands when one of the City’s most beloved family events returns in 2021. 

The 17th annual Monster Machinery Day was postponed last year due to Covid-19.
